No matter the destination, the chefs and their friends open their kitchens, their studios, their farms, their vineyards, their homes, and their hearts.
Patti personally coordinates all cooking classes, demonstrations, and visits to vineyards and farms with chefs and their friends. In France, the extraordinary chefs she selects are from every region of France. Patti has worked in all of their kitchens and knows first hand that they are superb teachers who are willing to share their secrets and who relish the opportunity to show their guests everything unique and special about their corner of the country.

Patti creates each trip after exploring the local sites and personally meeting and working with chefs, artists and other locals who are eager to share their culture. Too many choices? There are a number of planned trips throughout the year that Patti creates which can be found on the site.

Vacations For Various Celebrations and Groups

Trips with Les Liaisons Delicieuses are designed for travelers of all ages. Given the small size of the groups, there are opportunities to plan reunions (with family or college and childhood friends), celebrations (retirement, wedding anniversaries, milestone birthdays) and educational gatherings (for book club or gourmet dining groups).  Patti’s unique and personal relationships with numerous renowned chefs and hoteliers allow her to set up once-in-a-lifetime experiences for life’s special moments.

The signature trip of Les Liaisons Delicieuses runs for one week and includes only 6-10 people, depending on the destination. Patti and her guides have traveled extensively all over France .

Short Excursions

These trips are designed for travelers who enjoy exploring on their own, but appreciate a mini excursion that provides a more intimate experience with the local culture. Predominantly in France, 2-4 day trips take you to specific regions, such as a travel favorite – Normandy and the World War II beaches, or on specific outings, including to studios, museums, gardens and castles. Patti can plan a custom trip to fit your likes and travel schedule.

In the Footsteps of the Impressionists

These one day excursions go beyond the art. Spend a day viewing the works of famous impressionists. Then, depending on which artist(s) intrigue you, visit the sites where they painted, experience the restaurants they dined at, and enjoy the lunch they may have eaten.  These trips could be run singly or as a series. A Day in Paris with Patti

Les Liaisons Delicieuses’ founder and owner, Patti Ravenscroft would love to introduce you to the Paris she has known and loved since 1966. Patti can help you discover hidden corners of Paris that only the French know. While she can put together a tour to any of the sites in and around Paris, here is a typical day exploring the intimate locations most travelers miss.
Begin your morning savouring a freshly baked croissant or a pain au chocolat and coffee out in the village des Batignolles, at the foothills of Montmartre. Over coffee, Patti will tell you about Paris’s best kept secrets—little known shops, museums, walks, gardens, restaurants, and other treasures in the City of Light.
